Keerthy Suresh, who has had releases in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam this year, will be essaying a cop's role again for a movie which will have Jayam Ravi playing the lead. Debuant filmmaker Antony Bhagyaraj is said to be at the helm of the project.

The actress was seen in the role of a cop in Saani Kaayidham which was released earlier this year. The Arun Matheswaran directorial had skipped theatrical release and was directly made available on Amazon Prime Video. Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Vaashi were other films of the actress which released later this year.

According to a report in DT Next, he untitled movie of Antony is said to begin after Jayam Ravi completes his ongoing project (JR 30) under M Rajesh which commenced recently. Antony, who was an associate to Siva, had worked in movies like Viswasam and Annaatthe.

Home Movie Makers, which bankrolled Ravi's Adanga Maru and Bhoomi, will be producing the film. An official announcement is expected to happen soon. Ravi will next be seen in Kalyana Krishnan's Agilan and Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan which are slated for release on September 15 and September 30 respectively. The actor is yet to have a theatrical release in the pandemic era.

Keerthy, on the other hand, has Mari Selvaraj's Maamannan in her kitty. The project has evoked interest among audiences ever since it was announced, thanks to the names involved in it. AR Rahman is composing music for the project which has Udhayanidhi playing the lead.

Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu will be seen essaying significant roles in the movie which was touted as the last project of Udhayanidhi as an actor. However, the actor-producer-politician has signed a couple of more films recently.
