Malayalam's latest film, Koodal, will be available online soon. The thriller, which stars Bibin George in the lead role, will begin streaming on Manorama Max. However, the platform has not revealed a date of release.

The thriller, which debuted in theatres in June, received mixed reviews from critics and the public and did not perform well at the box office. Though an exact date of release has not been confirmed, it is expected that Koodal will be accessible on the popular Malayalam OTT platform in September. Recent Malayalam films to debut on Manorama Max includes Shanthamee Rathriyil, Manasa Vacha and Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal. Asif Ali's Sarkeet will also be streaming on the same site soon.

Koodal's plot and cast details

Two young women end up to a remote camp with mostly strangers where they confront their former classmate's killer. Bobby, the director of the camp, tries to keep them safe as things get escalated. This leads to a number of unexpected and unsettling events, which is the main focus of the film.

The supporting cast of Koodal includes Mareena Michael Kurisingal, Riya, Niya Varghese, Anu Sona, Vineeth Thattil, Muhammad Rafi, Sam Jeevan, Ali Arangadath, Lali P M, Sneha Vijayan, and Archana Ranjith. Gajaraj, the father of renowned Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj, plays a significant role in the film as well. This film is being directed by Shanu Kakkoor and scriptwriter Shafi Epikkad. Koodal's camera work was directed by Shajeer Pappa, and its editor is Jarshaj Kommeri. Sibu Sukumaran composed the soundtrack for the Jithin K V financed movie, under the banner of P and J Productions.

Bibin was recently seen with Omar Lulu's Bad Boyz. His works, such as Margamkali and Oru Pazhaya Bomb Kadha, have earned him recognition. Bibin also penned the screenplays for a number of films, such as Amar Akbar Anthony.
