We had earlier reported that actor Dhanush will be starring in Telugu filmmaker Sekhar Kammula’s film titled Kuberaa. The makers on Thursday announced the release date of the film with a social media post unveiling a new poster. Kuberaa also features Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna and Jib Sarbh in prominent roles.

Kuberaa is an upcoming multi-lingual film starring Dhanush in the lead role. He will be teaming up with director Sekhar Kammula for the first time with this film. Celebrating the Maha Shivratri occasion, the makers gave away a huge update about the film.

Mark your calendars. Kuberaa is all set to hit big screens on June 20. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, with Jim Sarbh, and Nagarjuna playing important characters in the film. The release date poster showcases Nagarjuna and Dhanush with somber expressions, their eyes locked in an intense gaze, while Jim Sarbh stands in the background, exuding an air of power and mystery.

Kubera is shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The technical crew consists of music scored by Devi Sri Prasad with camera cranked by Niketh Bommi. The editor of the film is Karthika Srinivas. Backed by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, Kuberaa is being mounted on a massive scale with high production values. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, making it a true pan-Indian event.

Prime Video has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of Kuberaa. The film will stream on the platform once it completes the theatrical run. Kuberaa first glimpse has already been released, teasing the characters each of the main cast will be portraying.
