Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has a slew of exciting films lined up, including Drishyam 3 with Jeethu Joseph Mammootty-starrer Patriot with Mahesh Narayanan and L365 with debutant Austin Dan Thomas. Meera Jasmine in Mohanlal’s L365?

Mohanlal’s upcoming film L365, is expected to start rolling soon, with online trackers claiming that the film would start by January 15 next year in Thodupuzha.

Austin Dan Thomas, who has acted in small roles in films such as Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, makes his directorial debut with the upcoming Mohanlal-starrer. Mohanlal himself had announced the exciting collaboration in July 2025. The poster had featured a police uniform too, leaving fans excited to see Mohanlal in a cop avatar after long. However, there are speculations about Meera Jasmine playing the female lead in the upcoming film. However the makers have not confirmed the shoot schedule or the female lead.

But if Meera Jasmine is indeed paired opposite Mohanlal, it would mark their first film after the 2012 movie, Ladies and Gentleman. Mohanlal and Meera have starred together in several films, such as Rasathanthram and Innathe Chintha Vishayam, that were helmed by veteran Sathyan Anthikad.

Meera had also made a cameo appearance in the recent film, Hridayapoorvam, another Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad film. Before Hridayapoorvam, Meera Jasmine was seen in the Tamil movie Test, which made a direct-to-OTT release on Netflix.

The Thudarum star is currently busy with the Drishyam 3 shoot, which is expected to wrap up by December 4, 2025. The Jeethu Joseph film could be planning for a summer 2026 release, but it is not officially confirmed.
