Mohanlal seems to have the most exciting schedule for 2025. After tasting success with Empuraan, Thudarum and Hridayapoorvam, Mohanlal is currently busy with Drishyam 3 shooting. The Malayalam superstar also has another project, tentatively titled L365, which is set to resume shooting later this year in December, as per online trackers. From the shoot start date to filming schedule and locations, here’s everything we know about Austin Dan Thomas' directorial.

Mohanlal’s L365 shoot to start in December

L365 producer Ashiq Usman in a recent conversation with The Cue Studio, revealed some key details about the upcoming film’s schedule. The producer revealed that L365 with Mohanlal would go on floors on December 5, 2025.

It is going to be shot over 90 days with major location in Thodupuzha along with Sabarimala in Kerala, and one schedule in Mumbai. Notably, Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 location is also progressing in Thodupuzha, where he is back as Georgekutty.

L365 is touted to be a police story, and Mohanlal is expected to sport a clean-shaven look for the cop look. Mohanlal has not appeared as a cop in recent films, nor has he sported a clean-shaven look recently, both in real and reel life.

The film marks the directorial debut of Austin Dan Thomas, who has also acted in small roles in films such as Vijay Superum Pournamiyum. Austin had also worked as the chief associate director of Kunchacko Boban’s thriller Anjaam Pathiraa. Jakes Bejoy, who is enjoying the success of Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra, will compose music for L369. This would mark his second project this year with Mohanlal after Thudarum.

On the other hand, Mohanlal’s next theatrical release is Vrusshabha, which will be out on November 6. Mohanlal also plays a key role in Patriot, starring Mammootty. Patriot is slated to be an April 2026 release. His 2001 movie Ravanaprabhu has also released in theatres, much to the joy of his fans.
