Set in a remote village in Tamil Nadu, the series follows events after a severed head is found. This sparks a frenzy in a land which was set to close its only police station due to lack of cases. The cops and villagers then set out to find the cause of the crime and unravel the truth about the mysterious victim. Popular Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi leads the investigative series, directed by Manikandan and B Ajith Kumar.

Naangal

The Tamil drama film depicts the despair and ordeal of three boys, living under their tyrannical father. Avinash Prakash has written and directed the movie, which was released in theatres in April 2025. Abdul Rafe plays the disciplinarian father along with Mithun Vasudevan, Rithik Mohanraj and Nithin Dineshkumar. Naangal was also screened at several prestigious film festivals.

Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani

This Telugu film was initially set for a direct digital debut but then the makers opted for a theatrical premiere. Led by actor Sivaji, Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani is now set for its OTT release. The film, touted to be a crime comedy, revolves around a panchayat secretary who is shocked to find a cop’s dead body in his house. When his wife tells him that their son could have caused the cop’s death, he sets out to bury the evidence.

Valathu Vashathe Kallan

A thriller, Valathu Vashathe Kallan follows the events as a father seeks revenge for her daughter’s murder and wants the corrupt cop responsible for her death to confess the crime. Joju George and Biju Menon lead the film, which also delves into the role of parenting in modern times. Drishyam 3 director Jeethu Joseph helms the thriller film, which opened to mixed reviews.

Once upon a time in Kayamkulam

Once upon a time in Kayakulam is an upcoming bilingual series, which will be released in Tamil and Malayalam. Directed by Ameen Barif, the series went on floors in December 2025. The series is set to be a heist comedy with clever twists. Anbuselvan, Subhas, Ramesh Madhavan, Vinsu Rachel, Rakesh Ushar, and Gouthami Nair are part of the cast.

Roommates

Streaming date: March 27

Roommates is an upcoming Kannada series. This is the second Kannada Zee5 series of the year, after Vijay Raghavendra’s Raakshasa. Shodha Ayyana Mane, and Maarigallu were the three series released last year on the platform.
