Madharaasi is a Tamil action thriller, helmed by director AR Murugadoss and starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead. It is about a man with fregoli delusion condition who is recruited by NIA to stop a crime syndicate into smuggling guns into Tamil Nadu. Idli Kadai - Theatres (October 1)

Idli Kadai is a feel-good drama, which is directed by Dhanush who also stars in the lead role. The film revolves around a man's homecoming to his humble roots as he wants to make his father's small eatery flourish once again. It stars Arun Vijay, Nithya Menen, Rajkiran, Sathyaraj, Shalini Pandey, Parthiban, Samuthirakani and others.

The Game - Netflix (October 2)

The Game is a Tamil thriller web series directed by Rajesh M Selva. It features Shraddha Srinath and Santhosh Prathap. The Game delves into the lives of a couple who are game developers. As things go beyond the realm of computer screens, it turns murkier and dangerous. Chandini, Syama Harini, Bala Hasan, Subash Selvam, Viviya Santh, Dheeraj, and Hema are also part of the series which is a mix of thriller and family drama.

Bigg Boss Tamil S9 - JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium (October 5)

The ninth season of Tamil reality show Bigg Boss Tamil is set to begin with the launch episode introducing the new house, rules, and housemates. Vijay Sethupathi is backing hosting the show and will introduce the audience to the new season. The episode is expected to reveal the new contestants.
