Prosenjit Chatterjee is returning to Bollywood after a considerable hiatus with Rajkummar Rao's Maalik. The gritty Hindi gangster thriller has been making rounds on the internet since last year, after the first look was dropped by him. This stunning collaboration between Rajkummar and Prosenjit promises to be a powerful cinematic experience. Shesh Pata

This Bengali drama follows the life of once-acclaimed author Balmiki Sengupta, who is now struggling with confusion and dilemmas after the mysterious death of his wife, who was a renowned actress. When a publishing company requests Balmiki to write a biography on his wife, he agrees to do the same. The story explores themes like grief, loss, and redemption in life.

Aparajita Tumi

Another drama that follows two couples navigating the complexities of their marriage in the US. The story centers around Pradip-Kuhu and Ronojoy-Ushoshi. Kuhu and Ushoshi clash over having children. Ushoshi's loneliness attracts Pradip, leading to an extramarital affair between them. All the characters are seen finding happiness on their own against the backdrop of the NRI lifestyle.

Chokher Bali (JioHotstar)

This film is adapted from Rabindranath Tagore's namesake novel, published in 1903. The film features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Prosenjit Chatterjee in the lead roles. The romance drama explores the complex relationship and social constraints faced by widow Binodini in the early 20th-century Bengal. After her husband's death, soon after their marriage, Binodini is forced to live with her aunt and her son Mahendra, who previously refused to marry her.
