Lokah Chapter 1 - Chandra box office collection day 28: Kalyani Priyadarshan-led Malayalam film Lokah tasted resounding success when it made waves across cinema halls in Telugu states and Tamil Nadu. But Lokah shows in Telugu states have not been performing well over the past few days, and with Pawan Kalyan’s OG hitting the screens on September 25, there is little room for the Malayalam superhero movie. On the other hand, the total worldwide collections of Lokah stand at Rs 280.2 crore, as per Sacnilk.

Lokah box office collection latest report

The 2025 Malayalam film Lokah Chapter 1 - Chandra was dubbed and released in Telugu states as Kotha Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra. The film is backed by Dulquer Salmaan, who enjoys a widespread popularity in the Telugu states, thanks to his hit Tollywood movies such as Sita Ramam and Lucky Baskhar. But after the initial frenzy, Lokah’s box office run in Telugu was curtailed after Teja Sajja’s Mirai hit theatres on September 12. Even then Lokah continued to have shows but the numbers were in the range of 0.2 crore to 0.35 crore, as per Sacnilk. The last data on Sacnilk for Lokah in Telugu states is for day 27, which is at Rs 0.02 crore.

The overall Telugu box office collection stands at Rs 13.61 crore, Tamil collection at Rs 14.18 crore, and followed by the Hindi collection at the lowest at Rs 3.56 crore. Most of the film's earnings have come from the original Malayalam version. The Malayalam net collection stands at Rs 109.7 crore.

On the other hand, the Dominic Arun directorial made Rs 1.00 crore on day 28 in India net collections, bringing the total to Rs 141.25 crore. Also starring Naslen in a key role, Lokah has a total collection of Rs 280.2 crore as it completes 28 days at the box office. The film, which blends in superhero and fantasy elements, has already been declared the all-time blockbuster hit in Malayalam cinema.

OG in Kerala

OG or They Call Him OG has also released in Kerala with nearly 100 shows. Early reviews of Pawan Kalyan’s actioner have been positive and if the word of mouth builds, there wouldn’t be no stopping the Telugu film, which has been creating significant buzz. But whether OG makes a dent in Kerala box office remains to be seen.
