A Malayalam film named 'Odiyan' came out in 2018, starring Mohanlal, Manju Warrier and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The Malayalam superstar portrayed Manikyan, an Odiyan who engages in these terrifying practices.

According to fan theories, this character in the movie appeared as a dog and was observed near Neeli, also called Chandra. Since the film's August 28 theatrical premiere, social media users have been speculating about the young star as Odiyan in this fantasy thriller. Even though the present chapter hasn't revealed much about this character or his relationship to Kathanar, Moothon and Neeli, the actor's fans and moviegoers will surely get to know and see more of him in the next part of this saga, most probably the third instalment.
