Despite the dip, the film is seeing strong bookings and looks to be on course to beat Thudarum, starring Mohanlal.

The 2025 Malayalam film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role along with Naslen, has had a phenomenal run at the theatres. But on September 8, 2025, Lokah minted Rs 5.75 crore in India nett collections, taking the overall earnings to Rs 88.25 crore. This is a dip of 43.35 per cent from its earnings of Rs 10.15 crore on September 7 (its second Sunday). However, this was expected, considering that the Onam festival holidays have come to an end in Kerala. So earning over Rs 5 crore on a working day is still a good figure, despite the dip.

The worldwide collections of Lokah is Rs 187.3 crore, as per Sacnilk. However, unconfirmed reports also state that the film has made Rs 224 crore in gross collections. This puts Lokah in touching distance of Mohanlal’s blockbuster film Thuduram, which made Rs 235.38 crore in worldwide collections, as per Sacnilk.
