
Match 3 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 sees Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) host Delhi Capitals in the evening game of the doubleheader weekend clash.
LSG will be keen to get started on a winning note, especially after this being their first game at home since joining the IPL last year.
LSG thump DC by 50 runs courtesy of a special bowling spell by Mark Wood.
LSG batters had first set the tone by posting a massive total, and then the bowlers made sure to complement that with a wily performance.
Mayers who was dropped at 14 made sure that Capitals paid for their mistake as he scored a brisk fifty following the powerplay. Later Pooran came in and chipped in with a handy cameo as the Giants finished with a massive total of 193/6.

Mark Wood surely is on a high today as Sakariya miscued his pull towards mid-wicket and the ball was taken by Krunal Pandya.
