Mardaani 3, featuring Rani Mukerji in the lead role, will now release in theatres on January 30, 2026. The film has been preponed by a whole month! It was initially scheduled for February 27, 2026 release. Back then, it would be clashing with Beyond The Kerala Story. Now, the film will release alongside Vijay Sethupathi’s Gandhi Talks, Pushkar Jog’s Human Cocaine and Jaaved Jaaferi’s Mayasabha.

Mardaani 3 takes on the case of the missing girls. While the original film explored the theme of human trafficking already, Mardaani 2 was about a rapist who dared to challenge the system. Mardaani 3 hints at a concept which is somewhere between the two.
