Mask release date: Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah’s dark comedy thriller to hit theatres in November

Mask, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Kavin in the lead role, is all set to hit theatres very soon. The makers on Friday announced that the film will release worldwide on November 21, while unveiling a new poster.

Actor Kavin, who was recently seen in the romantic fantasy film Kiss, will be next starring in the Tamil film Mask. The film will feature actor and singer Andrea Jeremiah in a prominent role as well, with Ruhani Sharma pairing up with Kavin for the first time. The team announced that Mask is set to hit theatres on November 21. A new poster shows a joyous Kavin lying on wads of cash.

The film also stars Charle, Ramesh Thilak, Kalloori Vinoth, and Archana Chandhoke in pivotal roles. National Award-winning composer G.V. Prakash Kumar has scored the music for the film, with the first single Kannumuzhi already out.

Mask is helmed by Vikarnan Ashok in his debut, with the project mentored by director Vetrimaaran. The film’s technical crew includes RD Rajasekhar handling cinematography, R. Ramar taking charge of editing, Jacki and M Vijay Iyyappan as the production designer, and Poorthi and Vipin designing the costumes.

Touted to be a dark comedy thriller set against the backdrop of Chennai, Mask promises to be an engaging entertainer, which will feature a different shade of Kavin. The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by ZEE5 and subscribers of OTTplay Premium can watch the film after its theatrical run. Kavin, who has his own set of fans, pins hopes on Mask, given the actor’s previous films like Kiss, Bloody Beggar and Star did not work for every audience.

Meanwhile, Kavin who is on a signing spree, has a film with Nayanthara which is titled Hi. There is also a film in which he will be pairing up with Priyanka Arul Mohan which will be a romantic fantasy.
