Masthu Shades Unnai Ra marked the debut of popular comedian Abhinav Gomatam as a hero in Telugu cinema. Thirupathi Rao directed this film, which is about a small-town man who sets up a Photoshop institute and lands in major problems once he starts his business in Hyderabad. Vaishali Raj played the female lead in this film, which was written by Anwar Sadiq. Ali Reza and Tharun Bhasker played key roles.
