Michael, the gangster flick which was released in theatres amid good expectations, is gearing up for its digital premiere. The movie, starring Sundeep Kishan in the titular role, hit the screens on February 3, and opened to mixed response. The technical aspects of the film, including cinematography by Kiran Koushik and music by Sam CS, received praises while its screenplay and presentation was termed outdated.

Sundeep Kishan's ripped physique was another aspect which garnered positive appreciation from moviegoers. Ranjit Jeyakodi has directed the movie which is dropping on aha in Tamil and Telugu on Friday.

Ahead of the OTT premiere, the team has announced a surprise for film buffs. Sundeep himself has taken to social media to inform the same. He will be gifting 2,000 quarterly subscriptions of the digital platform on Friday. The actor is expected to reveal more details on it in the coming days.

He also thanked his fans for the constant support they have been providing ever since his debut in filmdom. Sundeep tweeted, "Thank my Fans & Friends for always standing by me through all my efforts in my Love for the World of Cinema (sic)."

Michael revolves around the story of an orphan who joins the dreaded gang of a criminal. He stays loyal to the latter, but turns against him owing to a circumstance. What happens after the duo takes on each other forms the rest of the story.

Bharath Chowdary and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao bankrolled the project which features Divyansha Kaushik as its female lead. Gautham Menon, Anasuya, Varun Sandesh and Ayyappa Sharma play key roles while Vijay Sethupathi and Varalaxmi essay cameos.
