Mirai OTT release date: Teja Sajja plays the lead role in Karthik Gattamneni's film, which is soon to be released via OTTplay Premium

Mirai, the recently released Telugu superhero film starring actor Teja Sajja in the lead role, will be making its OTT debut soon. JioHotstar has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film and has announced the OTT release date. OTTplay Premium users can also stream Mirai very soon with their subscription.

Mirai OTT release date:

Mirai is a 2025 Telugu film which will premiere on JioHotstar this week. The streaming platform announced that it will begin streaming from October 10 onwards. Mirai will be available in its original Telugu version, along with other languages, including Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as well. OTTplay Premium subscribers can also watch the film soon.

Headlined by actor Teja Sajja, Mirai is written and directed by filmmaker-cinematographer Karthik Gattamneni. It revolves around an orphaned pickpocket who realises that he is destined to be the protector of nine sacred scriptures and must prevent an evil force from conquering them. Manchu Manoj plays the main antagonist, with actors Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu and Jayaram part of the film.

The film was released in theatres on September 12. Mirai had opened to fairly positive reviews upon its release and had a decent theatrical run. The film had grossed over Rs 100 crore at the box office, when the budget of the film was close to Rs 60 crore, as it gears up for OTT release in a few days.

Besides writing and directing the film, Karthik Gattamneni has also tripled up as the cinematographer of Mirai. It was edited by award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad and has music scored by Gowra Hari.

Teja Sajja, who had already scored a success in the superhero genre with last year’s Hanu-Man, returned with yet another superhero stint with Mirai. It is safe to say that the film has managed to satisfy a section of audience.
