Motevari Love Story trailer: Anil Geela's series brings rural romance with a goofy twist

Motevari Love Story has YouTuber Anil Geela as the main lead. Madhura Sreedhar has produced the series which will be out on Zee 5 and OTTplay Premium on August 8, 2025.

ZEE5 is churning out shows one after the other and is bringing new-age content to our doorsteps. Next in line is Motevari Love Story, a proper Telangana-based comedy series featuring Anil Geela as the main lead. Produced by My Village Show and Madhura Entertainment, the show is all set to be available for streaming on August 8, 2025 and you can also stream the series on OTTplay Premium.

Meanwhile, the makers revealed the teaser, and it looks quite simple and neat. Though the concept does not boast anything new, how YouTuber-turned-actor Anil Geela holds your attention with his cheeky character looks quite funny.

Shiva Krishna Burra has directed the series, which is set in a small village in Telangana and showcases the love story of a youth who faces unique issues in his love life. Varshini plays the female lead, and she looks perfect in the role of a village belle. On the other hand, popular actor Muralidhar Goud is seen in a crazy role in this series, and he brings a few laughs.

The trailer was launched by popular director Tharun Bhascker, and he stated that making stories based on local issues can take things global.

Motevari Love Story is about a young man named Parshi, whose love story takes a unique turn when two men land in the village named Arepalli and create a small land dispute, which turns things upside down for the young couple. How the character of Parshi turns things around is showcased in a very funny manner.

Speaking at the launch, Anil Geela stated that he is someone who is not from the industry but is now an active member of the fraternity. "We have made this series with a lot of heart, and I hope everyone will love our quirky comedy," added Anil.

Charan Arjun have composed the music, and Anil himself has edited the series. The trailer does not reveal much, and we need to see if the series turns out to be good or not.
