Nadu Center is an upcoming web series in Tamil which will premiere on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium. The series will release on November 20, the makers announced, while dropping the trailer of the sports series.

Touted to be a high-energy, emotionally charged coming-of-age web series set in the world of school basketball, the trailer gives a glimpse into an inspiring story of second chances, friendship, and transformation through sport.

The trailer shows a school plagued by drug culture and violence where the students thread the wrong path. In an attempt to redeem the boys, the management plan to organise a basketball team and send them to tournaments. The trailer shows the change in behaviour the students go through, as we see how the teens begin experience a lot more emotions, including romance. Familiar faces like Sasikumar, Kalaiyarasan and Regina Cassandra appear too.

What is Nadu Center about?

Nadu Center revolves around a 17-year-old national-level basketball player PK from an elite school for alleged misconduct. Transferred to a notorious institution plagued by violence and indiscipline, PK has a hard time to fit in, and that is when the Vice Principal sees in him the potential to lead change. He is asked to build a basketball team comprising of school’s most unruly students, making PK take an an unexpected journey of leadership and self-discovery.

The cast of Nadu Center includes Surya SK, Surya Vijay Sethupathi, Sarah Black, Terrance, Mukesh, Dom, Yashwanth, Sahana, Madhuvasanth, Arti, Kishore, Jeeva, Nandagopal, Tara Amala Joseph, and Shivam. The series also features actors Asha Sharath, Kalaiyarasan, and Sasikumar, in supporting roles.

The show is created and directed by Naru Narayanan, who has written it along with Kerthi, and Nirmal. The technical crew includes Hestin as cinematographer and Vishal scoring the music. Venkat is the editor.
