In its annual tradition which happens around Pongal, Netflix unveils its upcoming slate of post-theatrical releases. This year too, the streaming giant unveiled its latest acquisitions, which includes the star-studded line-ups featuring, Dhanush, Suriya and Ravi Mohan films. Here is every Tamil film that will be releasing on Netflix after its theatrical run.

What Tamil movies are coming to Netflix?

Netflix has announced its Tamil content slate of 2026. While it had earlier announced its originals, this time around, the streaming platform announced its post-theatricals. Netflix has bagged the rights of Suriya's next two films; Suriya 46 with director Venky Atluri and Suriya 47 helmed by director Jithu Madhavan. Both the films are yet to get titles.

Actor Ravi Mohan's directorial debut The Ordinary Man featuring Yogi Babu will be heading to Netflix, as much as his next multi-starrer Bro Code, co-starring SJ Suryah and Arjun Ashokan. On the other hand, Karthi and director Tamizh’s Marshal, Dhanush-starrer Kara by director Vignesh Raja have also been acquired by Netflix.

On the other hand, other upcoming films like With Love featuring Abishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan, AGS 28 (tentative name) starring Arjun Sarja, Preity Mukundhan and Abhirami, Dayangaram directed by VJ Siddhu, Gatta Kushti 2 featuring Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vishnu Vishal, Atharvaa Murali's Idhayam Murali, will be coming on Netflix.

Monika Shergill, Vice President, Content, Netflix India, said in a statement, “This is the fourth year we’re announcing our Tamil licensed film slate around Pongal, and it’s been encouraging to see audiences respond to content-led films across genres, with growing openness to stories that move beyond traditional formats.”
