Malayalam: Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra

After keeping fans waiting for a pretty long time, Lokah Chapter 1 made its OTT debut on Friday, in time for the Halloween celebrations. An enigmatic woman gets inevitably locks horns with an organ trafficking gang, even as a cheeky neighbourhood lad takes an interest to know more about her. But both parties are left shocked as the woman proves to be far more than what they could have ever imagined. Young actress Kalyani Priyadarshan leads this superhero film, which broke several records at the box office. Star cameos by Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas elevate the film, which is a must-watch this weekend.

Kannada: Kantara Chapter 1

Another blockbuster film, but this time from Kannada which takes back to the ancient times of the Kadamba dynasty where an unruly prince sets his eyes on the Kantara forest but finds the fiery Berme guarding the land and its people. Rishab Shetty has penned and directed the film, as well as starred in the lead role, along with the charming Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah and Jayaram. The prequel to the hit Kantara, the 2025 film packs in more action and grandeur to impress its viewers.

Hindi: Baaghi 4

Bollywood star Tiger Shroff is back with the fourth installment from the Baaghi franchise. He stars as Ronny who gets into a terrible accident, and when he finally wakes up starts having hallucinations about his ‘dead’ girlfriend. The plot gets murkier as he is told these are not real. Sanjay Dutt appears as the cunning Chacko along with Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu in the film, which was not a winner at the box office. But the film is expected to get more traction online. Marathi: Baai Tujhyapayi

This series takes you away from all the hue and cry for blockbusters to narrate the tale of a young school girl who wants to be a doctor. But age-old traditions in her village come across as an obstacle to her chasing her dreams. How and whether she will succeed is explored in the heartwarming series.

Bengali: Ganoshotru

This web series explores the lives of five notorious and most-feared people from the criminal underbelly of West Bengal state. Serial killers and gangsters are under the scanner in the docudrama series, led by Ayush Das, Debopriyo Mukherjee and Subrat Dutta, among others. The series consists of five episodes.
