Kamal Haasan stars as the mafia lord Sakthivel, who rescues a boy Amaran, amid a gang war. Though a hard-core loyalist initially, Amaran begins to suspect Sakthivel, setting the stage for an intense showdown. Silambarasan plays Amaran in the star-studded cast, along with Trisha Krishnan, Joju George and others. Despite the hype surrounding the Kamal Haasan-Mani Ratnam film, Thug Life opened to disappointing reviews and feedback. Still, the film is awaited in the digital world, it remains to be seen if Thug Life would find a better response upon its OTT release.

Madras Matinee

Uppu Kappurambu

The burial space or the lack of it is the centre of the much-anticipated Telugu film, which features Keerthy Suresh in the lead role of the sarpanch. The film promises a satirical take as the helpless sarpanch and the staff at the burial ground seek to put an end to the troubles.
