Telusu Kada: OTT release of Siddhu Jonnalagadda's film likely to be preponed?

Telusu Kada is Siddhu Jonnalagadda's new film that hit the screens on October 17, 2025, to a lot of mixed reviews. From day one, the occupancy has been quite low, and the film has managed to impress only a few. We at OTTplay have already revealed that Netflix has bagged the digital rights for a fancy price.

Now, the gossip in film circles is that Telusu Kada might land on OTT earlier than expected. As per the deal, Telusu Kada was supposed to be out on Netflix in the third week of November 2025, but now the film might be out in the second week of November 2025 itself.

This has happened as the film is not drawing much of a crowd to theatres, and the occupancy is not that great as the weekdays have started. Telusu Kada is loosely based on Salman Khan’s yesteryear film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, but director Neeraja Kona made a few changes by bringing in the ex-girlfriend factor in the film.

Siddhu marries Raashii Khanna, and as they cannot have kids, they decide to take the help of surrogacy through a doctor played by Srinidhi Shetty, who also happens to be Siddhu’s ex. All this is showcased superbly in the first half, but things go for a toss in the latter part due to the lack of proper clarity in the hero’s emotions and how he handles the entire situation.

Viva Harsha also plays a key role in this film, which has hit music by Thaman. The makers are trying hard to keep the film in the news, but all eyes are now on the OTT release date. Stay tuned for more updates.
