Panchayat 5 is currently in the works. The scripting of the web series is on, Sanvikaa confirmed to News18. The actress also shared that while the show is expected to roll in late 2026 or early 2027. Thus, the release of Panchayat season 5 would not be possible before 2027. Initially, it was expected to go on floors in 2025, but it underwent delays and will now go on floors in 2026.

Panchayat season 5 was confirmed to OTTplay ahead of season 4's release. During our exclusive interview, Sanvikaa shared that the fifth season of the popular Indian series is definitely in the making since the scripting process has begun.
