Panchayat Season 5 Announced: Here's when Jitendra Kumar's series will release

After receiving much love for Season 4, the makers have officially announced Panchayat Season 5. From release year to what to expect, know everything about the new season.

Good news for all Panchayat fans! Once again, Phulera village is calling us to witness an epic story as Panchayat Season 5 has been officially announced. As per reports, Season 4 was streamed by audiences in over 180 countries and received a lot of love proving the craze of the series. Although the ending of Season 4 disappointed fans, they demand Season 5. Now, the announcement of the new season has delighted the fans once again.

Panchayat Season 5 announced

On July 7, Prime Video officially announced Panchayat Season 5. The series is all set to be released in 2026. Sharing the announcement, the streaming platform wrote, "Hi 5 Phulera wapas aane ki taiyyaari shuru kar lijiye #PanchayatOnPrime, New Season, Coming Soon."

In the poster, we can see all the lead characters standing line by line led by Sunita Rajwar's Krant Devi. Meanwhile, Neena Gupta's Manju Devi is at the end holding a 'lauki.' All our favourite characters will be back for Panchayat Season 5. As per the regular release pattern, we can expect the new season in summer 2026.

What to expect from Panchayat Season 5

In Panchayat season 4, we saw Krant Devi winning the election, which makes her the head of Phulera village. On the other hand, Manju Devi lost and when the news broke, Pradhan Ji (Raghubir Yadav) was seen losing his control and was out of his senses. Meanwhile, Sachiv Ji (Jitendra Kumar) finally cracked his CAT exam and he gradually explored his love relationship with Sanvikaa's Rinki.

Panchayat Season 5 is expected to continue the story of Abhishek (Sachiv Ji) and the residents of Phulera, where themes of love, community, and the impact of political changes after the recent elections will potentially be explored.

The cast includes Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha.

Sanvikaa on Panchayat Season 5

Confirming the 5th season of Panchayat, Sanvikaa told us that the process for Panchayat Season 5 has begun, and hopefully, maybe by mid-next year or sometime in next year, it will be released. "And we are likely to begin the shoot for season 5, maybe at the end of this year or next year, so writing has started. So once the writing is done, we will start shooting," she said.

Meanwhile, Panchayat Season 5 is produced by The Viral Fever, created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar. It is written by Chandan Kumar and directed by Akshat Vijaywargiya and Deepak Kumar Mishra.
