Paradha locks OTT platform: Where to stream Anupama Parameswaran's social drama

Paradha is a special Telugu film as it has Anupama Parameswaran in a new avatar. Darshana Rajendran is also making her Telugu debut with this film which has now locked its OTT platform.

Anupama Parameswaran became a sensation of sorts with the success of DJ Tillu. When everyone thought she would take up back-to-back glamour roles, she shocked everyone by announcing a village drama titled Paradha. She will be seen in a de-glam look in this film, which is still stuck in production due to some financial issues. The makers are yet to lock the release date.

On the other hand, we have now come to know that Paradha has locked its OTT partner. One of the sources close to the film has revealed to us that Amazon Prime Video has secured the digital rights for a fancy price.

Paradha is directed by Praveen Kandregula, who last made Subham, which was produced by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and ended as a smash hit at the box office. The special aspect of Paradha is that yet another Malayalam actress, Darshana Rajendran, is also making her Telugu debut with this film, which is a female-centric social drama.

The film also has Tamil actress Sangita in a key role, and the teaser showcased the core cast of the film stuck in a small village filled with myths and restrictions. How the character of Anupama comes out of these restriction through the help of other two women is the basic story of the film.

Praveen Kandregula of Cinema Bandi fame directs Paradha

Anupama will be seen in a new avatar in this film, which is high on drama and emotions. Gopi Sundar is composing the music for this film, which has been made on a decent budget. Praveen Kandregula has also made the OTT hit Cinema Bandi, which was critically acclaimed and a good hit. As he is high on the success of Subham, everyone is eager to see what he has in store for us with Paradha.

Anupama Parameswaran has pinned a lot of hopes on this project as her character has a lot of scope to perform. Amazon Prime Video is in no mood to slow down as it is bagging digital rights of back-to-back Telugu films, and Paradha is one of them. Stay tuned for more updates.
