Parasakthi actor Sreeleela wants to work with this veteran Malayalam actor, and star

After Parasakthi actor Sivakarthikeyan rendered his favourite Mohanlal dialogue, Sreeleela revealed that she is very fond of Malayalam actors and the father-son duo of Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan.

Parasakthi is an upcoming Tamil film, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sreeleela. Though the film is yet to get its censor certificate, much like Vijay’s movie Jana Nayagan, which has been postponed, the Parasakthi team is busy with promotions and is currently in Kerala. After Sivakarthikeyan rendered his favourite Mohanlal dialogue actress Sreeleela revealed that she is very fond of Malayalam actors and the father-son duo of Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan.

Who is Sreeleela’s favorite Malayalam actor

During the promotions of Parasakthi in Kerala, Sreeleela was asked about the Malayalam actor she would like to work with. The Guntur Kaaram actress named not one but two actors. "I have always been very fond of Mammootty sir and Dulquer sir,” replied the actress who is making her Tamil debut with Parasakthi.

While Mammootty is one of the towering figures of Malayalam cinema, his son Dulquer Salmaan has been able to make a mark in other industries too. DQ’s last film was the Tamil period movie Kaantha, where he played a superstar. Mammootty, on the other hand, was last seen in Kalamkaaval, playing a serial killer role. Kaantha is streaming on Netflix, while Kalamkaval is set to drop on SonyLiv via OTTplay Premium soon in January.

When will Parasakthi release

The upcoming Tamil film Parasakthi is slated to release on January 10, 2026, ahead of the Pongal festival in Tamil Nadu. Actor Sivakarthikeyan plays the lead role in the film, helmed by director Sudha Kongara. Atharvaa, Ravi Mohan and Sreeleela are also part of the Tamil film, which will revolve around anti-Hindi agitations in the south state.

With just two days left for the Parasakthi release, the film is yet to get its censor certificate. Already, the other big Tamil film of Jana Nayagan has been postponed after delay in getting the censor certificate.
