However, Suriya had backed out, with Sudha proceeding the film with Sivakarthikeyan with new producers. Ravi Mohan will be playing the antagonist in the film, while Sreeleela will be making her Tamil debut. Atharvaa also stars in a prominent role, making it the cast’s first time to work with Sudha Kongara.

The film is set against the backdrop of 60s. But given the fresh reports surfacing that the release of Jana Nayagan is in confusion, Parasakthi might see competition from other films soon.
