Malayalam film industry is gearing up for the release of their biggie Patriot, which will see the superstars; Mohanlal and Mammootty reunite. While there are some more weeks before fans witness their onscreen collaboration, the makers of Patriot released a new poster featuring actor Revathy, on Sunday for the occasion of Women’s Day. The poster also reaffirmed the release date on April 23.

Patriot Women’s Day poster reaffirms an on-track release in April?

Patriot is an upcoming Malayalam flick, which will see two prominent forces of the southern regional cinema, come together onscreen after a long gap. On the occasion of Women’s Day on Sunday, the makers of the film released a poster featuring actor Revathy who plays one of the important roles.

In what may appear as a calm demeanour and dressed in a maroon saree and shawl over, Revathy's new poster features her as one of the prominent characters in the multi-starrer. In one of the corners, the poster affirms release on April 23, amid the ongoing confusion that the film is in trouble.

It is to be noted that speculations have been circulating that Patriot has been having troubles after the disagreement between theatre owners and producers with the latter asking more ratio in the revenue sharing. If the agreement is not amicably settled, it could lead to a potential ban of the film in Kerala. However, with no official confirmation on the postponement, and the Revathy poster still going ahead with April 23 release date, it is expected that the film is on track.
