Ponniyin Selvan 2: BTS video of Sobhita Dhulipala's enchanting transformation as Vanathi is here

The actress is expected to have more screen space in the second installment

Following a BTS video of Aishwarya Lekshmi's transformation as Poonguzhali, makers of Ponniyin Selvan 2 have now unveiled a promo video featuring Sobhita Dhulipala's Vanathi. A few stills of the actress attired in a regal outfit and her flaunting various poses are seen in the video, leaving her fans thrilled.

Her delightful smile is the attraction of the video; she is expected to have more screen space in the second installment. Her chemistry with Jayam Ravi is likely to be one of the highlights of the second part. The Twitter post from makers features the caption, "Love, loyalty, and beauty - see them all come together in the BTS of our #SobhitaDhulipala turning into #Vanathi (sic)."

The glimpse of the second single Veera Raja Veera's lyric video will be unveiled today evening. The melody is expected to feature the romance between Ravi's Arunmozhi Varman and Sobhita's Vanathi. Ponniyin Selvan marked the Tamil debut of Sobhita, but the actress hasn't signed her next in Kollywood.

Last seen in The Night Manager, the Hindi web series which dropped on Disney+ Hotstar on February 17, the actress has pinned high hopes on the Mani Ratnam directorial. Her dance moves in the song Ratchasa Maamaney from Ponniyin Selvan 1 garnered appreciation from several quarters.

Ponniyin Selvan 2 is set to hit the screens on April 28 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies have jointly bankrolled the magnum opus which has cinematography by Ravi Varman, production design by Thota Tharani and editing by Sreekar Prasad.

The cliffhanger in Ponniyin Selvan 1 is the most exciting factor which makes the audience wait for the second installment which is expected to have ample action portions when compared to the first part.
