Prabhas to reportedly announce a a new film, his 25th outing, this week

Prabhas’ latest venture will reportedly be vastly different from his previous films.

Prabhas fans have a lot to look forward to now. The actor is certainly keeping busy, with the release of Radhe Shyam closing in ,and the ongoing shoot for two other films. It is now being reported that the actor will announce a new film, which will be his 25th project, this week.

According to a report in Bollywood Life, the film will reportedly be helmed by a ‘maverick’ director whose works have gained them a cult status.

The project is also said to mark the star’s first time collaboration with this filmmaker, who was not named in the report, as well. The story will reportedly be vastly different from the past works of the actor, and will feature him in a ‘never-before-seen’ avatar.

The project, which will be the 25th film of the star, is rumoured to be announced this week, on October 7.

On the other hand, the South Indian star’s period romance flick Radhe Shyam is all set to hit theatres on January 14, 2022, coinciding with Pongal weekend in Tamil Nadu. The Radha Krishna Kumar directorial will feature Prabhas with Pooja Hegde, Krishnam Raju, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Bhagyashree, Murali Sharma and Kunaal Roy Kapur.

The Baahubali star is currently in the midst of filming Adipurush and Salaar. He will star alongside Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in the former, and opposite Shruti Haasan in the latter.
