Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth has an unmatchable aura, with even stars and actors vouching to be his big fans. Noted Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, who also got a chance to act with Rajinikanth in his upcoming movie Jailer 2, has called the Superstar ‘a magician’ while adding that the sequel is better than part 1.

What Suraj said about Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2?

Jailer 2 is an upcoming Tamil film, helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar and starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. The much-awaited film is a sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer and features several Malayalam actors too. Suraj Venjaramoodu told YouTube channel ReelzCinemaPro “Jailer 2 has come out superbly. It is more super than Part 1.”

Talking about his experience of working with Thalaivar, Suraj said, “I just wanted to see him and never thought I would get a chance to act with him. Rajini sir surprises you with every scene. Rajini sir is a magician like that.”

Suraj, who started off in comedy roles and transitioned to character and lead roles, is noted for his movies such as Android Kunjappan Version 5.25. Suraj marked his Tamil film debut with Veera Dheera Sooran - Part 2, starring Vikram in 2025.

Who are the actors in Jailer 2

Rajinikanth will be back as Muthuvel Pandian in the sequel, along with Ramya Krishnan. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who made a cameo appearance in Jailer, will also be back for part 2. Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar is also part of the film, while Vijay Sethupathi will be making a cameo appearance. There are also speculations that Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan could also be part of the Rajinikanth film.

When is Jailer 2 releasing

Rajinikanth had earlier announced that the film will release on June 12, but recent reports claim that Jailer 2 could be delayed and hit theatres in August. However, the makers have not officially confirmed this.
