Manasa Sharma is known for her work in the superhit web series Bench Life which is now streaming on OTTplay Premium. She is now all set to make her theatrical debut as a director with a film titled Rakasa. The project is being backed by Niharika Konidela, who earlier produced the award-winning film Committee Kurrollu.

Manasa has teamed up with young talent Sangeeth Shobhan for this horror-comedy, which has been made on a decent budget. The teaser begins with a man landing in America and getting stuck in a mysterious haunted house. The premise looks intriguing, and the thrills showcased, along with Sangeeth Shobhan’s entry into the setup, are well executed.
