Rashmika Mandanna, Naga Chaitanya win Telangana Gaddar Film Awards 2025; Raju Weds Rambai is Best Film

Telangana Gaddar Film Awards 2025: Rashmika Mandanna won the Best Actress Award for her moving performance in the film The Girlfriend, while Naga Chaitanya won the Best Actor Award for Thandel.

Popular Telugu stars Rashmika Mandanna and Naga Chaitanya secured the top honours at the Gaddar Film Awards 2025, which were announced by the Telangana government on Saturday. The Telugu romantic drama Raju Weds Rambai has been adjudged the Best Film.

Who won Telangana Gaddar Film Awards

Rashmika Mandanna has won the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards for Best Actress for her moving performance in the film The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran. The film, also starring Dheekshith Shetty, delved into toxic relationships. Naga Chaitanya won the Best Actor Award for his performance in the film Thandel, which also starred Sai Pallavi.

Rashmika, who recently got married to Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda said the character Bhooma in The Girlfriend is close to her heart.

Raju Weds Rambai, a tragic love story inspired by true events, was named the Best Film with Saailu Kampati winning the Best Director award for the movie.

Veteran star Chiranjeevi was honoured with the NTR National Film Award, while Tamil star Kamal Haasan was bestowed with the Paidi Jairaj Award.

The Best Supporting Actor went to Shivaji for his performance in Dhandoraa, which was also adjudged the second best feature film. Dhandoraa also fetched the Best music director award for Mark K Robin.

The award for the third best film went to the comedy drama The Great Pre-Wedding Show starring Thiruveer. Bhumika Chawla won the Best supporting actress award for her performance in Euphoria.

The rom-com movie Little Hearts which was directed by Sai Marthand and starred young actors Mouli and Shivani Nagaram in the lead, won the award for the best debut feature film. The Best Children’s Film award went to Anaganaga, which followed a teacher’s attempt to break away from traditional teaching. The film starred Sumanth in the lead role of Vyas.

The blockbuster hit Sankranthiki Vasthunam starring Venkatesh along with Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary, was recognised for providing the Best Wholesome Entertainment. The Telugu action comedy film is directed by Anil Ravipudi, who also won the Best Screenplay Writer Award.
