After a few postponements, Raghava Lawrence's Rudhran is finally hitting the screens on April 14. Producer-turned-filmmaker Kathiresan is making his directorial debut with the film which has been bankrolled by himself. Priya Bhavani Shankar is playing the female lead in the movie which has songs and background score composed by GV Prakash Kumar and Sam CS respectively.

Its trailer was unveiled a few days ago; though the promo video reminds us of several commercial potboilers made in the past, fans of Lawrence hope that it would have ample elements to entertain them.

RD Rajasekar, who has cranked the camera for Rudhran, has now taken to his Twitter page to reveal an update on the project. He has posted a picture along with Lawrence from a studio where its final colouring has been happening. Both of them are seen flaunting a gratifying expression.

Lawrence's flawless dance moves and action episodes are expected to be highlights of the movie which has screenplay penned by KP Thirumaaran and editing handled by Anthony. Shridhar and Baba Bhaskar have composed dance choreography while Stun Siva has helmed stunt sequences.

Sarath Kumar essays the antagonist's role in Rudhran which will be released as Rudhrudu in Telugu on the same day. The hero-villain conflict, according to makers, is going to be the attraction of the project which is Lawrence's release after a four-year hiatus.

The ever popular melody Paadatha Pattellam from Veerathirumagan has been remixed in the movie and Lawrence along with Priya have shook legs for the new song. However, the reprised version didn't fetch a huge response as expected.
