Salman Khan on Sikandar debacle

Salman Khan met his three lookalikes on The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3. "Kaam-dhanda accha chal raha hai? Sikandar se koi farak toh nahi pada?," the actor asked his lookalikes. Sikandar debacle at the Box Office

Salman Khan had promised his fans at the promotions of his movie that his Eid release Sikandar would cross Rs. 200 crore mark at the Box Office. Unfortunately, that did not happen owing to various reasons, some of them being that the movie released on a Sunday instead of usual Friday release, to keep Sikandar’s screening closer to the actual date of Eid. However, the move backfired since the movie did not get enough time to mint money at the Box Office. Furthermore, Salman Khan’s Eid offering was leaked online hours before release, causing further reduction in footfalls in theatres. Sikandar, which released a week before Sunny Deol’s Jaat, managed to cross Rs. 100 crore mark a week after its release. For a Salman Khan film, that was considered a Box Office debacle.

Tiger abhi zinda hai." Salman said, "Zinda toh hai par aapke liye nahi." This got the people present roaring with laughter.
