Saree out on OTT: Where to stream Ram Gopal Varma's adult thriller

Saree is Ram Gopal Varma's latest production that has been directed by Giri Krishna. The thriller is out on OTT and the special aspect is an adult uncut version is now streaming online.

Ram Gopal Varma is away from the limelight but is still making films one after the other. His recent production is Saree, which ended as a big disappointment at the box office, and RGV was trolled for the way he conceived the film. Not many bothered about the film as it was A-rated and failed to click at the theatres.

Saree OTT platform details

Saree was directed by Giri Krishna Kamal and produced by Ravi Shankar Varma. The latest update is that Saree has locked its OTT platform, as Aha has bagged the digital rights for a very nominal price. The special aspect is that Saree has suddenly landed on aha without any intimation.

The film features Satya Yadu, Sahil Sambyal, and Appaji Ambareesh in key roles and can also be streamed on OTTplay Premium. Right from the time the trailer came out, RGV did not promote the film much and stayed away from Saree, as one of his protégés directed the film.

Not much was known about Saree until the cheesy promos came out in the open. The film released on a low-key note and did not even fare well for at least a day in theatres. The special aspect is that Aha is streaming the A-rated uncut version, which is rare.

The story of the film is about a young woman who likes to dress up in a sari, and a young man follows her because he becomes obsessed after seeing her in such an outfit. He goes to such an extent that he becomes dangerously obsessive, kidnaps her, and tortures her big time. How the lady comes out of this mess is the basic story of the film.

This is the first time that Aha is streaming such an A-rated version without the basic cuts that the censors have given. Only time will tell how this film will be received by the OTT audience. On the other hand, RGV is working closely on his comeback film which will be made on a pan-India scale. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
