When asked about the same, Sathyaraj revealed in an interview with Telugu360 that he is not part of the film and that all such reports are baseless. "I am not part of Rajamouli's next and met him recently at the Baahubali 10-year celebrations," said Sathyraj.

Sathyaraj earlier played the iconic role of Kattappa in Baahubali, a character that took him to new heights of stardom and led to multiple Telugu film offers. Sathyaraj also added that he can never forget the 120 days he spent shooting Baahubali and described every moment as memorable. He also revealed that as the film completed 10 years, a small celebration was held in the Fiji Islands, which was a memorable outing for everyone.
