Sattamum Needhiyum is an upcoming web series which will premiere on July 18 on ZEE5. You can watch the series with your OTTplay Premium subscription. All the episodes will drop on the platform at the same time.

Sattamum Needhiyum plot

Sattamum Needhiyum is about an underdog notary public named Sundara Moorthy who takes up the case of a missing girl. After her father immolates himself in front of the court hall, Sundara Moorthy stands up against a powerful opponent lawyer. The rest of the series is about how the lesser-known advocate wins the case.

The trailer of Sattamum Needhiyum shows Sundara Moorthy, a notary public who does not have a happening career, as we see a young law graduate joining him as a junior. Sundara Moorthy is shown as a weak lawyer, and after witnessing a gruesome incident, takes up a case of a girl's disappearance. The trailer shows how the lawyer stands up a strong opponent to argue for the case and get justice to the girl's parents.

Sattamum Needhiyum marks the comeback of actor Saravanan as a protagonist after 15 years. The cast also includes Namritha, Aroul D Shankar, Shanmugham, Thiruselvam, Vijayashree, and Iniya Ram. The show is helmed by Balaji Selvaraj and produced by Sasikala Prabhakaran. Sooriya Prathap S serves as the writer and showrunner of the series. The technical crew includes Vibin Baskar scoring the music, cinematography by S Gokulakrishnan and Bhavna Govardhan, editing by Raavanan.
