Secret Stories Roslin writer Vinayak Sasikumar, also a popular lyricist, speaks about the possibility of Season 2, what its title will be and whether characters from Season 1 will return.

The latest Malayalam series Secret Stories Roslin marked the scriptwriting debut of noted lyricist Vinayak Sasikumar, who has penned popular songs in hit movies such as Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham. A thriller series, Secret Stories Roslin recently premiered on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium. Vinayak spoke about Season and hinted what the title could be.

Is Secret Stories Roslin getting a sequel

Secret Stories Roslin is helmed by Sumesh Nandakumar with Drishyam 3 director Jeethu Joseph as the showrunner. In a recent chat with The Room YouTube channel, Vinayak Sasikumar spoke about the prospects for Season 2.

“The story for Season 2 has not been completed. But that's why we named the series Secret Stories: Roslin. Secret Stories is the title for the entire series, and Roslin being Season 1's title. If Season 2 is coming, then it could be Secret Stories along with the name of another character,” Vinayak explained.

On the question of whether it would be an entirely new story, Vinayak said that some of the characters from Roslin might make an appearance in the next story.

What’s Secret Stories Roslin about

Secret Stories Roslin revolves around a teenager who is disturbed by nightmares of a stalker with green eyes. But what really shocks Roslin is when she sees the stalker for real and that too at her house as Jerry. Even though she tells her parents about him, they do not take her seriously. The series delves into the fears and trauma of a teenager, even while following a mysterious tale.

Who are the actors in Secret Stories Roslin

Sanjana Dipu plays the titular role of Roslin, while popular actors Meena and Vineeth play her parents - Shobha and John. Hakim Shahjahan appears as the enigmatic Jerry, while senior actors T G Ravi, Renji Panicker and Shankar Ramakrishnan are also part of the cast.
