Actor Dhanush unveiled the title of his brother and filmmaker Selvagahavan’s next film as an actor. Titled Manithan Deivamagalam, the first look poster was also revealed by the makers.

Director Selvaraghavan, who has appeared as actor in films like Saani Kayidham and Sorgavaasal, will be headlining an upcoming Tamil film Manithan Deivamagalam. The first look poster and title were revealed by the makers on social media on Sunday, by his brother and actor Dhanush.

The film is directed by Dennis Manjunath. As per the makers, the film is set in a village embraced by nature and peace. But when a devastating tragedy unsettles its harmony and draws the protagonist into its turmoil, the film follows him in his quest to save his people, the choice he makes transforms him into the deity of the land, inspiring the film’s evocative title.

The ensemble cast also includes Kushee Ravi, Y. G. Mahendran, Mime Gopi, Kousalya, Sathish, Deepak, Hema, Lirthika, and N. Jothi Kannan in pivotal roles. The technical crew of the film includes cinematography by Ravi Varma K with editing handled by Deepak S. The music is scored by A K Prriyan and Bhakiyaraj is art director. A release date of Manithan Deivamagalam is yet to be announced by the makers.
