At the song launch of Paan Ki Dukaan from O’Romeo, Shahid updated all of his fans about Farzi 2. The actor confirmed the making, while also revealing his look for the series. "Yeh baal maine Farzi 2 ke liye hi katwaaye hain, shooting shuru hone wali hai," the actor said about the series' shoot.

When is Farzi 2 expected to release?

Farzi 2 is expected to release towards the end of 2026 or in early 2027. The series’ second installment will continue his journey as Sunny. Directed by Raj and DK of The Family Man fame, it stars Vijay Sethupathi and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles with Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Bhuvan Arora as key characters.
