We had earlier reported that actor Vijay's son, Jason Sanjay, will be making his directorial debut soon. The film is titled Sigma with Sundeep Kishan starring the lead role. The makers on Friday announced that the shooting for Sigma has been wrapped up. Along with this, Sigma makers also dropped the teaser update.

Jason Sanjay will not be following the footsteps of his father Vijay, but will be entering the cinema industry as director instead. His first film has been announced as Sigma, which features Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. The latest update reveals that the shooting has been wrapped up, with one to expect teaser to drop very soon. The teaser of Sigma will be out on December 23, at 5pm, just a few days before Christmas. The first look poster of the film had already been revealed, suggesting that it will be an actioner. However not much about the plot has been unveiled.

Apart from Sundeep Kishan, the film also stars actor Faria Abdullah as the female lead along with Raju Sundaram, Yog Japee, Sampath Raj, Kiran Konda, and Anbu Thasan as supporting characters. The film's release date is yet to be announced. With Thaman S scoring the music, Praveen KL is the editor. Krishnan Venkat is the cinematographer. Sigma will release in Tamil and Telugu.

Meanwhile, apart from Sigma, Sundeep Kishan also has a Netflix project in works. Titled Super Subbu, the comedy drama series is part of the streamer's 2026 content slate and will also feature actors Mithila Palkar and Murali Sharma as well. Super Subbu is about a teacher who ends up teaching sex education to a school in remote village. Directed by Mallik Ram, a release date for Super Subbu is yet to be announced by Netflix. Sundeep Kishan also has action romantic drama titled Vibe.
