Siruthai Siva to reunite with Ajith for fifth time? Here's what the director has to say

Director Siruthai Siva, with the upcoming release of Tamil film Kanguva starring Suriya, hints at a possible fifth collaboration with actor Ajith Kumar.

Director Siruthai Siva is currently awaiting the release of the Tamil film Kanguva, headlined by actor Suriya. With the film slated to release on November 14, the promotions have already begun, with the director giving out interviews. In one such conversation, the director revealed the possibility of reuniting with actor Ajith Kumar for the fifth time, after Veeram, Viswasam, Vivegam, and Vedalam.

Siruthai Siva and Ajith Kumar have teamed up four times and given blockbusters Veeram, Viswasam, Vivegam, and Vedalam. With the filmmaker working with Suriya in Kanguva and Ajith’s lineup including Vidaa Muyarchi and Good Bad Ugly, it looks like a reunion of Ajith and Siva is on the cards.

In a recent interview given out by Siruthai Siva, the filmmaker was quizzed about the same, to which he replied, “Definitely it will happen, but I should not be the one to say. It will be good if Ajith sir himself confirms.” So far, no official announcement has been made on the collaboration. However, with the confidence brimming on Siruthai Siva, it appears that we can once again see their combination onscreen.

Where to watch Siva’s last film Annaatthe on OTT

Siva last directed the Rajinikanth -starrer family drama Annaaatthe, which was released in 2021. The drama film was produced by Sun Pictures and is available for streaming on SunNXT and OTTplay Premium app, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Annaatthe also stars Khushbu, Meena, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Soori, Pandiarajan, Sathyan, and Sathish in prominent roles. The film revolves around Kaalaiyan, a sarpanch, who strives to protect his sister from a businessman and his elder brother. However, after she elopes with her lover and gets into trouble, the brother comes all the way to Kolkata to save his sister.
