Sitaare Zameen Par is all set to be released in theaters. As per Pinkvilla, Aamir Khan is set to release Sitaare Zameen Par on 1200+ screens.

“The makers were exploring several release ideas, and the plan at the moment is to bring the film on approximately 1250 screens. Aamir Khan is confident of the film, and is well aware about the change in audience dynamics, which is the reason why he is looking at a longer game than a shorter one,” revealed a source close to the development.

Sitaare Zameen Pat plot

Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports drama that follows a disgraced basketball coach (played by Aamir Khan) who is forced to train a group of people with neurodevelopmental differences as community service after a DUI. Although initially reluctant, he becomes emotionally engaged with the players and their aspirations, leading to a transformative journey for both him and the team. This film explores themes of resilience, growth, and the importance of understanding and embracing difference.

This film aims to highlight the importance of inclusion and understanding of neurodivergent individuals, emphasising their abilities and potential for success. It also explores themes of self-discovery, empathy, and the power of human connection.

Sitaare Zameen Par cast and crew

The film casts Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh along with 10 newcomers. Aamir Khan Productions casts 10 rising stars: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit.
