The makers of Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Don, directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi, released its trailer at the pre-release event held in Chennai yesterday. While talking at the event, the actor spoke in length about his co-stars and the director. He narrated a few interesting anecdotes about having worked with all of them and how he could connect to the character he played in the project.

He essays the role of a confused engineering student in the movie. According to Siva, he, too, used to change his goals and ambitions often as he had no clarity about what he wanted to become in the future.

On working with Samuthirakani, Siva said, "He has always been an inspiration in different ways. He keeps encouraging everyone during the shooting. It is something which many people do not do in the industry. I hope that Don will repeat the success of those movies in which we had worked together earlier."

All praise for SJ Suryah's polite behaviour, Siva said that he started mimicry by imitating the former's voice during his college days. "Back then, Suryah sir's New was a sensation among college students. Those from other colleges used to refer to me as the guy who is good at mimicking Suryah's voice. I'm glad that I acted with him in the movie," he said, adding that every student can connect to the role Suryah plays in Don.

Siva added that it was complete fun to work with Priyanka Mohan, Sivaangi, Balasaravanan, Mirchi Vijay and Munishkanth. He also thanked actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin for bagging the film's Tamil Nadu theatrical rights.

Billed as a fun-filled campus drama, Don is set for a theatrical release on May 13. Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for the movie which has cinematography by KM Bhaskaran and editing by Nagooran.
