Despite Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor releasing on Netflix a few days ago, the movie is still attracting crowd in theatres. The movie is the first blockbuster in Tamil after theatres were opened in August post the second lockdown. The actor is currently busy with Cibi Chakravarthi's Don the post-production of which, is currently underway.

The movie had gone on floors in Coimbatore in February this year with an official ceremony attended by Siva and others. SJ Suryah, Samuthirakani, Gautham Menon, Balasaravanan, Kaali Venkat, Munishkanth and Soori among others will be seen essaying crucial roles in the project which is tipped as a comic caper.

Don brings together Siva and female lead Priyanka Arul Mohan again after Doctor. Interestingly, Anirudh, who composed for the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial, has been roped in as the musician for this movie as well. Sibi had taken to Twitter recently to announce that Soori has wrapped up his dubbing for the movie.

We now hear that the film is likely to release around Republic Day. The makers hope that movie buffs will be ready to welcome the film in the last week of January after big ticket flicks like RRR and Valimai hit the screens in the first and second week of the month respectively.

The movie, which is jointly produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Lyca Productions, has cinematography by KM Bhaskaran and editing by Nagooran. Sivakarthikeyan has completed the dubbing for Don and the first look of the project is expected to be released soon. The star has Singapathai and Ayalaan in his kitty.
