We will see Kay Kay Menon returning as Himmat Singh along with his beloved team. As the release date is near, here is everything you need to know about Special Ops 2.

When and where to watch Special Ops 2

Special Ops 2, which was earlier scheduled for a July 11 release, will now be available for streaming on JioHotstar from July 18. You can also watch it with your OTTplay Premium subscription. Get ready for a new crime story to unfold in the second season of Special Ops.

Special Ops 2 plot

Special Ops 2 revolves around a cyber-attack that threatens India's digital economy, including its UPI user base. Himmat Singh (Kay Kay Menon), with his team, returns to handle this new threat, which involves artificial intelligence and its potential for misuse. The story also looks at the personal lives of the characters, including Himmat's relationship with his daughter, and it also features twists and betrayals. Meanwhile, Himmat and his team are on a mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist from terrorists, indicating a multi-layered narrative.

The series will explore the themes of cyber warfare, espionage in the digital age, moral dilemmas, geopolitical threats, and more.

Special Ops 2 cast and crew

The series stars Kay Kay Menon as Himmat Singh. The returning actors are Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Dilip Tahil, Parmeet Sethi, Kali Prasad Mukherjee, Muzammil Ibrahim, Saiyami Kher, and Gautami Kapoor, while the new entries are Tahir Raj Bhasin (as the antagonist), Arif Zakaria, Kamakshi Bhat, Shikha Talsania, Prakash Raj, and Vikkas Manaktala.

Special Ops 2" is directed by Shivam Nair and Neeraj Pandey, and produced by Shital Bhatia under the banner of Friday Storytellers, a subsidiary of Friday Filmworks.
