Suhas had two back-to-back releases in just a week. Uppu Kappurambu released on OTT, and Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama in theaters, but both have flopped big time.

Suhas is one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema and has come up the hard way. After scoring a few hits, he signed back-to-back films in his career, but sadly, most of the recent ones have ended as big flops at the box office. Within a week, his two films were released, one on OTT and one in theaters. The ones in discussion are Uppu Kappurambu, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, and Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama, a theatrical release that is currently out in theaters.

The sad part is that both these films have flopped. Uppu Kappurambu also features Keerthy Suresh and is about a burial ground scam that is showcased in a fun manner. Suhas plays a burial ground worker, and his performance was good. But all those who watched the film say that it is over the top, and Suhas was sidelined in the narrative.
The worst part, however, is how Suhas' other film, Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama, is receiving flak. The family drama has made only Rs 50 lakh and is already out of theaters. Seeing all this, a section of the audience says that Suhas is only signing films just to be in the game and for money.
An actor of his calibre should do better roles, and just to play lead roles, he should not sign such silly films, is the talk. Suhas has given great performances in Ambajipeta Marriage Band, Colour Photo, and Prasanna Vadanam, and that is the reason he is considered quite highly by the Telugu audience.
In the days to come, Suhas needs to select a solid script that gives him scope as an actor. He is known for his emotional performances, but his last few films were in the commercial zone. An industry insider says that Suhas is known for special roles, and his choosing dance and fight routines is the last thing his fans and audience would like to see.
He has two more films that will be released this year, and more info about these projects will be out soon. So, we need to see how Suhas handles his career after two back-to-back setbacks. Stay tuned for more updates.
