It was announced recently that Suriya's next project will be directed by Siva. The project has been tentatively titled Suriya 42 and stars Disha Patani as its female lead. The movie marks the actress' Tami debut and third film in south. A motion poster of Suriya 42 was unveiled a couple of weeks ago.

Billed as an ambitious fantasy thriller, the film is being jointly bankrolled by Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green and UV Creations. Music director Devi Sri Prasad has been one of the few who came on board as soon as the project was announced. The makers are planning to release the movie in 10 languages.

Now, they have issued a release in which they have expressed disappointment over the leak of a few stills and videos from the shooting location. They have requested people to refrain from it and have warned of taking strict copyright infringement action on those who don't abide by rules.

The release read, "Every single work involves the blood and sweat of the entire team. We want to give this movie as a grand theatrical experience to everyone. It would be a great favour if you delete the published videos and pictures, and we request not to share the same in the future."

Suriya and Gnanavel Raja are teaming up after Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, while Devi Sri Prasad is composing for a Suriya-starrer after Singam 2. Fans of Suriya and other film lovers are waiting to know about the cast details of the movie which is expected to release in 2023.

Suriya has Bala's Vanangaan and Vetri Maaran's Vaadi Vaasal as well in his kitty. His fans are looking forward to knowing which among these will hit the screens first.
